Bayerische Hausbau was founded in Munich in 1954 and is one of the largest real estate companies in Germany. It bundled the Schörghuber Group's construction and real estate activities in its Development and Real Estate divisions.
At the beginning of October 2023, transformation into a decentralized structure with the legal unbundling of its two divisions was completed. Two independent sister companies were created under the Bayerische Hausbau brand umbrella.
