Stefan Bögl (49), an experienced real estate expert and long-time head of a number of different asset and property management teams, will take up the position of chief operating officer at Bayerische Hausbau Real Estate (BHRE) on 1 July, thus neatly rounding off BHRE's management team. "I'm delighted that in Stefan Bögl we have gained a recognized real estate expert for this exciting position whose focus has long been placed on every aspect of portfolio and asset management, including transactions," says Marcel Wnendt, CEO of BHRE.
New distribution of C-level tasks
Stefan Bögl will take over responsibility for Asset Management, Property Management, Transactions and the legal department from Marcel Wnendt. Portfolio Management, Business Development, Finance, Treasury, Communication & Marketing, IT and HR will remain in the hands of the CEO.
BHRE focuses on active asset management and maintaining a close dialog with tenants, and it is intended that Bögl further expand this approach. "In recent months, we have launched a broad-based internal change process that will allow us to recognize and meet the needs and wishes of our tenants better and earlier. Stefan Bögl's evident determination and willingness to implement and to make changes, his high level of energy and his experience will enable him to further refine and optimize the changes that have already been initiated," says Marcel Wnendt.
Clear-cut structures ensure measurability and scalability
As Executive Director Asset & Property Management at aam2core and Head of Asset & Property Management at Aurelis Reals Estate, Stefan Bögl, a real estate economist, has been managing large teams for 15 years; at BHRE, he will be heading up a team of 71 employees. "We are currently experiencing an exciting and challenging time in the real estate industry," says Stefan Bögl. "Previous certainties sometimes no longer apply; what is needed are creative leasing approaches and flexible real estate strategies that not only focus on the tenants but also anticipate their needs and wishes." To do this, companies need to create appropriate structures that ensure the measurability and scalability of the services they offer.
Optimizing and standardizing processes, refining role profiles and rolling out digital tools are all tasks with which Stefan Bögl, who studied business administration in Würzburg, Mannheim and Austin, Texas, is familiar. "I'm very much looking forward to working with my colleagues at Bayerische Hausbau Real Estate, whose successes I've long been following closely. We have a number of exciting projects ahead of us that will enable us to grow together as a team quickly and thus make it easy for me to get off to a good start."
